Ms. Deborah Tjaden, HRMS President and CEO, left the DuPont Company after 24 years of
dedicated service to found HR Management Solutions, Inc. Prior to leaving DuPont, Deborah was a Consultant in DuPont's Corporate Human Resources Department. As a Management
Consultant, Deborah had corporate-wide responsibility for the design, development and implementation of DuPont's Violence in the Workplace, Substance Abuse, and Mental
Health policies, procedures and programs. She also served as Chairperson of DuPont's Corporate Substance Abuse and Threat Management Committees. Similarly, she chaired
the Corporate Threat Management Response Team whose responsibility was to provide multi-disciplinary expertise, at management's request, when a threat or actual incident of violence
occurred 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, nationwide.
Ms. Tjaden has testified as an expert witness before the Senate Judiciary Committee about
Violence in the Workplace and Domestic Violence and its impact on employees both in and out of the workplace. Recognizing a general lack of expertise in these areas, nationwide,
prompted Ms. Tjaden to found HR Management Solutions, Inc. As a result, she has provided consultation and implementation assistance to numerous Fortune 500 Companies wishing to
develop holistic approaches to these issues.
HR Management Solutions, Inc. is, therefore, a management consulting firm specializing in
Human Resource Management Systems and Consultation that will enable management to develop the skills and abilities necessary to manage the unmanageable. In addition to
providing services in many other generalized areas of Human Resources, HRMS specialties include:
- Violence in the Workplace Response and Prevention;
- Substance Abuse and Mental Health, Disability and Leave Issues;
- All areas of associated employment law including specialization in the Family and
Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Drug-Free Workplace Act.
